Matsumoto Shave Ice

Matsumoto Shave ice is a local favorite producing 1,000 shave ices everyday.    Many people from the world have visited this local store, including Tom Hanks and Konishiki.  In fact their pictures are displayed on the walls of the Matsumoto grocery store.  Matsumoto Shave Ice has been displayed in various magazines, news articles, and television programs such as Bay Watch Hawaii.  So take a drive the North Shore and see what the buzz is about, and if you really want to take part in the Hawaiian experience I suggest trying the Hawaiian special flavor.  I have tried most of the flavors and my ultimate favorite is still the Hawaiian special.  I also recommend that you spend the extra cents to get the extra plastic cup.  This cup has saved me from a lot of mess.
